Doctor's Appointment

Kari and Luke had doctor visits this last Thursday. Kari's doctor's visit was more of a chat session just to see how she was doing. They want to see her back in a month. She is super excited that she has ankles again and thinks they are even smaller than they were before! Then we took Luke to meet his new doctor (and our first encounter too). Luke's visit was also a success. He is small, but we already new that! He is eating well and I have no doubt he will be where he needs to be when we go back in a month. The doctor also said that it seems that his jaundice was either gone or no longer a factor because she couldn't notice anything.

While all this was going on Kari's brother Kyle and his wife Kim had their little boy Trayce. We are excited to get them together to meet each other and so that we can meet our new nephew as well!

Luke is enjoying keeping his mommy awake at night. I try to help in the early hours when I can but Kari wants me to take less of a load on work days. We want to say thanks to everyone for the gifts, cards and helping us out, especially to the two new grandma's that have spent their evenings away from their homes to help make our transition a little easier!
