We have been keeping busy the past couple of weeks. We went to Evansville two weekends ago to meet Luke's cousin, Trayce and stay with mamaw and Marc, then on Tuesday last week we got to see Trayce and his mommy and daddy again in Brazil, IN at great uncle Troy's house. Luke and Trayce seem like they will be pretty good buddies!
This past weekend we went to Greenwood to see grandma and grandpa McNeely and aunt Christina and had dinner with them! Then when we got home Jbrum came over and him and daddy took care of Luke so mommy could sleep!
Speaking of sleep, Luke is still having a little trouble with bedtime. We have figured out he doesn't like the sleep sacks that much and prefers to be wrapped up like a burrito really tight! Daddy is the best at wrapping him up!!! Two nights ago Luke spent nearly the whole night screaming until mommy decided to take him on a car ride at 3am! It put him right to sleep and then he slept in his car seat until he woke up!
We have also changed Luke's diet in hopes that maybe his belly was being too upset and it would help in the screaming and crying department. Luke was getting breast milk and an occasional bottle of formula when he still seemed hungry. Now he is strictly on sensitive formula. It has only been a couple of days, but hopefully he will get adjusted and we will see some improvement soon!
Yesterday Luke and mommy went to Zionsville to meet everyone at the bank where mommy works. Everyone was so excited to see us both! Mommy really isn't looking forward to going back on November 1st, but we are going to make the most out of the next month together!
Last night, daddy weighed Luke, and if his calculations are correct, he is weighing in at roughly 8 pounds now! This would explain why Luke is starting to grow out of his newborn clothes and into his 0-3 month clothes!
Today, we are waiting on the arrival of aunt Sarah and cousin Amy. They are coming to hang out with us for a couple of days! We also hear that aunt Christina and Grandma and Grandpa McNeely are coming over tonight too!
This Sunday we are going over to Grandma McNeely's sisters' house to meet even more family! Then on Monday Luke has his one month check up! I can't believe it's been a month!!
